Piramidón Centre d’Art Contemporani presents, in 2025, the second edition of the Acquisition and Residency Award at the SWAB Art Fair Barcelona, a fair recognized for its commitment to emerging art and innovative contemporary practices. In this edition, Lena Laguna participated together with the space Malpaís.

The award begins with the acquisition of a work by the selected artist, which becomes part of the Piramidón Collection. As the second part of the prize, the artist is invited to enjoy a two-month residency in one of Piramidón’s studios in Barcelona, including a living and working area. During the stay, the artist has the opportunity to take part in a group exhibition and establish connections with other artists, curators, and collectors from the contemporary art field.
