Sofía González has been the winner of the first edition of the Artistic Residency Award organized by Piramidón, Centre d’Art Contemporani, in collaboration with the ArteSantander 2025 fair. In this edition, González participated alongside the Barrera Baldán gallery. This recognition highlights the most innovative proposals in contemporary art and reaffirms Piramidón’s commitment to supporting emerging creation.

The award consists of a two-month residency in one of Piramidón’s studios in Barcelona, including a living and working area. During her stay, the artist will be able to integrate into the dynamic creative environment of the city, participate in a group exhibition, and connect with other artists, curators, and collectors, thereby strengthening her professional trajectory and her network within the art world.
