Piramidón Centre d’Art Contemporani presents, in 2024, the first edition of the Acquisition and Residency Award at the SWAB Art Fair in Barcelona, a fair recognized for its commitment to emerging art and innovative contemporary practices.

The award begins with the acquisition of a work by the selected artist, which becomes part of the Piramidón Collection. As the second part of the award, the artist is invited to enjoy a two-month residency in one of Piramidón's studios in Barcelona, which includes a living and working space. During the stay, the artist has the opportunity to participate in a group exhibition and establish connections with other artists, curators, and collectors in the field of contemporary art.
