Her practice is rooted in a symbolic imaginary that combines universal and archetypal references with elements permeable to contemporary culture. Drawing on pre-existing sources that are reactivated and transformed, she constructs scenes in which fragmentation is articulated as a coherent whole. The resulting images function as an extended visual poem, rich in suggestion and open to multiple interpretations. Painting moves away from the literal and the self-evident to operate within a field of meanings in tension, where signs and associations intertwine. Language, also understood as a visual game, is incorporated as another resource within the pictorial process.
