His artistic practice focuses on the potential of unfinished paintings and the transitional state they suggest. This ambiguous limbo, full of possibilities, allows each empty space to gain meaning and generate a self-reinforcing code. Observation is key in his process, as he believes that painting begins long before the act of painting itself. This process involves a negotiation with the work, recognizing its autonomy and listening to its needs, transforming the act of painting into a mediation with the material.

He works on several pieces simultaneously, using controlled randomness and without a predetermined idea, allowing the works to converse with each other and enrich the process. In his recent work, he has focused on appropriation, reusing discarded fabrics, painted by himself or others, to re-signify them and build from their character. This approach plays with repetition, collage, accident, and their coding. His practice highlights the ambiguity, interaction, and listening between material-creator and the reuse of materials.
