Federica, in her current work, focuses on the deconstruction of the landscape and the abstract as a study of the spaces and daily scenes experienced. Her work introduces influences from countercultural movements, irrational philosophies, and the theory of non-places, as well as a reflection on psychogeography. Over the years, she has developed a personal process that combines painting and urban art, exploring the conditioning of human beings in both urban and natural environments.
She moves away from landscape mimesis to create spaces defined by chromatic patches that convey the identity of a place in a subjective and emotional way. Her creative process questions the monopoly of rationalism, emphasizing the gesture and the experience of creation. Each piece is linked to the emotions and sensations of a specific moment or place, reflecting her daily life and attempting to capture her emotions to prevent them from being forgotten.
