Work
Guillermo Mora was one of the two winners of the first edition of the Jordi Fulla Artistic Residency Award, which enabled him to undertake a residency at Piramidón. His artistic practice explores the boundaries between painting, sculpture, and installation, addressing concepts such as materiality, the creative process, and memory. In his works, he combines pictorial and three-dimensional elements, playing with accumulation, fragmentation, and reconstruction. Mora experiments with pigments, wood, and everyday objects to create compositions that challenge traditional conventions of art. His approach transcends the duality between the visible and the hidden, generating dialogues between the physical, the symbolic, and the spatial, and inviting viewers to rethink the narratives and transformations inherent to contemporary art.
