| Carlos Roig combines painting and sculpture while incorporating new and unconventional materials into his works. The artwork refers to itself, distancing itself from individual expression and the evocation of private emotions. His language may be based on pure geometric forms, with an impeccable, industrial appearance seemingly closer to design than to painting. At the same time, the artist also approaches nature without relying on clear anatomical references, oscillating between representation and the erasure of ideas, omitting figures and signs to create spaces that feel almost alive. | ||
