Exploring human vulnerability, Juan Manuel Reyes captures in his works the fine line between what is alive and what is dead. His art is imbued with a sense of ambivalence, balancing tenderness and brutality. Enormous, faded faces, devoid of defined features, reveal their most hidden side—their intimacy. Fragility permeates these works, inviting us to delve into another intimacy: our own.
