Using photography as a current medium, the artist is interested in the historical and evolving aspects of photographic practice. Gathering hundreds of photographs from different countries, corresponding to various moments in the lives of anonymous people, they use these to nourish their own work based on study, analysis, and understanding. They pursue memory, the passage of time, and the fleeting nature of existence. They capture simple aspects of life and develop their analog work in a darkroom. The results are scanned to convert them into digital files that are easy to consult. The outcome becomes a daily inventory that plays with the unexpected and more complex work.
