Work
Pol Pintó explores the infinite possibilities of action and how it leaves its trace in the world.
His work emerges from the legacy of movement and is characterized by abstraction, minimalism, and austerity: an extension of his interest in questions related to tension, space, and, above all, the search for what is primary.
To do so, he consistently uses unconventional and often seemingly mundane objects as tools. From their contact or friction arise the expressive marks that define his paintings, leaving little room for human intervention and embracing the randomness inherent in any kind of movement.
