Román de Castro has been this year's winner of the Acquisition and Residency Prize, the result of our collaboration with the UVNT Art Fair, a fair distinguished by its commitment to new currents and diversity in contemporary art.

In the UVNT 25 edition, Piramidón awarded this prize for the third time, combining the acquisition of a work by the selected artist, which is added to the Piramidón Collection, with a two-month artistic residency at our center in Barcelona.

From August to September 2025, Román de Castro will enjoy this residency, a space that integrates work and living areas while fostering exchange and dialogue between artists and cultural agents.
