Thinking, seeing, painting or drawing, translating; these are the actions that drive the Argentine artist Florencia De Titta. Her work is connected to the construction of a proposal aimed at presenting an experience—the daily passage of time—through visual language. The result is the transformation of continuous movement into a quality of time dedicated to work and reflection; time during which doing is strengthened: an intimate relationship that arises between the workspace, the creator, their acquired and lived skills, the working materials, and the practice of the craft, all motivated by love.
The act of translating involves turning her personal experience of time and the rhythm of urban life into images; fragments of everyday passage that she records in photographs, drawings, words, dates, hours... diverse and meaningful elements that the artist appropriates and then decontextualizes.
