Residency period at Piramidón:
From May 2013 to December 2013
Studio 15.1

Work:
In his work, there is always a struggle between opposites. The material may be fragile, but the references used in the drawings can convey a concept entirely unrelated to fragility. Conversely, something that appears innocent is presented in exorbitant or monumental dimensions, overwhelming the viewer and their understanding. This tension is always present in his work, whether in perforated papers, fiberglass sculptures, resin paintings, or videos. It is a tension that not only resides in the materials, dimensions, and images used but also extends to and influences the themes of his work, which consistently reflect the individual and social contemporaneity we experience.
