Work

For Eduardo Marco, fulfilling his aesthetic impulses entails embracing an effort for perfection that would burden others who, like buoys adrift, lack this electric drive. The artistic endeavor that motivates this photographer stems from a curiosity to uncover what remains hidden from the common gaze; to reveal, in the most literal sense, the seemingly insignificant, which the artist’s vision transforms into a harmony that sparks enthusiasm within us. In this process, Marco's honesty does not bear the heavy weight of theoretical assumptions; he approaches his work without learned dogmas, as in Walt Whitman’s poem that begins: "I do not need certainties: I am a man concerned with his soul."
