Jia-Ling Hsu's work is time-based, encompassing performances and moving images. Drawing from autobiographical materials integrated with memories and dreams, Hsu's works are emotional responses to personal experiences surrounding family, faith, and romance, through which she explores the notions of "freedom" and "restriction."
