	Gino Rubert, a new artist at our studies from june 2008 Gino Rubert's painting have been shown in galleries and museums around the world. His last project is an exhibition at the Museu de l'Empordà. Gino Rubert started painting in close connection to illustration. His mexican roots and the references to “realismo mágico” are evident. His images are intense and seductive, at first they can be considered “normal” but a second look reveals disturbing enygmas.
	NEW TEMPORARY STUDIO FOR RESIDENT ARTIST Piramidon has for a long time housed international artists but now we want to go a step further to host the best of contemporary creation by invitation instead of application residence program . This is why the temporary studio is currently being remodeled to hold both a space to work and a private bedroom with a kitchen and bathroom. It will be opened again by January 2009. [+info]

	Pere de Ribot. Horizonte Interior. Place: Galeria Ester Montoriol, Barcelona. Date: From 10th April to 23rd May 2008. A selection of the last landscapes by Pere de Ribot. Interior landscapes full of references and evocations. There have been more than 100 hundred exhibitions by the painter and this last one will be in Madrid in June at Ángeles Penche gallery.
	Carles Gabarró . Enchevêtrement. Place: Gallery 10.5 - PARIS (105, rue Faubourg du Temple ). Date: From 12th of April to 10th of May 2008. Located in the Parisian neighbourhood of Belleville , this young and multidisciplinary gallery is focused in French and Chinese art. This is the fifth solo exhibition by Carles Gabarró in Paris where he lived for two years at ht beginning of his career as a painter. His last exhibition was in 1991. In 2002 he participated in an exhibition called “Champs libres: Espagne(s)” with Tàpies, Chillida, Arroyo, Barceló and Grau in Joinville (Champapne-Ardenne).
	Patricio Reig. Last Game. Place: Galeria Artur Ramón, Barcelona Dates: 14th of february to 19th of march, 2008 Patricio Reig, artist with studio at Piramidon, is showing his last drawings which remind of old photographies in family albums. The world of tennis is used as an excuse to talk about art and life. As Patricio says in the text of the catalogue: “there isn't much of a difference between a blank canvas and a bare court where everything is still to happen”.

This artist,who works mainly drawing, will work two month in Piramidon. The president of Centre d'Art Contemporani Piramidón has the honor to invite you to the concert of metallic wind section in charge of the quinteto Hiplips of the Conservatori del Liceu, that will take place next 3rd of October, to the 20,15 hours, in the surprising terrace of our space 16 1.
	Miguel Angel Pascual. Barcelona in Baden – Baden Space: Galeria Frank Pages. Baden-Baden (Alemania) Dates: 2 September 15 October. Miguel Angel Pascual has opened last Sunday 2nd September in the Frank Pages Gallerie of the German city of Baden-Baden, an exhibition that under the title "Bacelona in Baden-Baden” and together with Jordi Fulla and Lluis Ventós it picks up the last works of these artists, resident in Barcelona. The mentioned exhibition coincides with the participation of Catalonia as an invited country in the International Fair of the book of Frankfurt. It will remain open until the 15th October.
	Carlos Pazos . No me digas nada. Lugar: Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía. Fechas: 21 de junio de 2007 - 8 de octubre de 2007 Tras su paso por el MACBA, donde ha cosechado gran éxito de crítica y público, la exposición No me digas nada dedicada a Carlos Pazos (Barcelona, 1949) llega al Museo Reina Sofía para presentarnos un recorrido a través de los últimos treinta años de su trayectoria. Se propone así por primera vez una visión global y exhaustiva del artista. Entre las novedades que se presentan destaca una pelicula- collage producida especialmente con motivo de esta exposición concebida a modo de síntesis de su trabajo creativo Carlos Pazos tiene su estudio en Piramidón desde 1992.

	Ana Hernández del Amo. Nueva Artista del Piramidón. Después de disfrutar de una residencia en la Academia de España en Roma, gracias a una Beca de Artes Plásticas del Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores, la artista Ana Hernández del Amo ha sido escogida para trabajar en uno de los estudios de Piramidón.

Fran Doutedetoute IMPOSSIBLE SHOP Lugar:galería H2O (Barcelona) Fechas: Del 5 de junio al 26 de junio de 2007 Fran Doutedetoute IMPOSSIBLE SHOP es un proyecto en el que vengo trabajando desde hace varios años y que ahora presento por primera vez en la galería H2O de Barcelona. Fran Doutedetoute es una tienda imposible, detallista de muñecos mutantes, libros de cuentos ilustrados manualmente (ejemplares únicos), cajas, máscaras y relojes. Fran Doutedetoute se instalará de forma permanente en su estudio del Centre D'art Contemporani PIRAMIDON con la vocación de seguir creciendo y mostrándose en diferentes espacios expositivos.
